2022 The Open Championship – Round 2

Cameron Smith had a brilliant round scoring -8 which took him to the top of the leaderboard. There were plenty of other impressive scores which has made a big difference to the leaderboard.

Some popular picks missed the cut such as Woods (8), Woodland (22), Pereira (11), Power (22), Koepka (4), Harrington (8), Morikawa (29), Homa (61) and Oosthuizen (32) meaning 193 entries had golfers missing the cut therefore are out of the competition leaving 277 remaining. This is possibly the highest percentage of survivors with 59% of entries having all selection make the cut.

6th – Stef Maile 1 -24 (-10, -8, -6)

6th – Lee Gaterell 3 -24 (-10, -8, -6)

9th – Daniel Hulme -23 (-13, -10, 0)

9th – Mick McDonnell -23 (-13, -10, 0)

There are 32 entries on -20 or better therefore it remains very tight at the top after Round 2.

Shot of the Day
