It’s very tight at the top with Rory McIlroy and Viktor Hovland having brilliant rounds meaning they take a 4 shot lead going into the final round. With the scoring being low all week, there are plenty of golfers in the field still in contention.
Top 10
The top 10 after Round 3 is as follows:
1st – Ronnie Cannon 3 -34
2nd – Daniel Hulme -32 (-16, -12, -4)
2nd – Mick McDonnell -32 (-16, -12, -4)
2nd – Natasha Gallagher -32 (-16, -12, -4)
2nd – Greg Brechin -32 (-16, -12, -4)
6th – Stefan Maile 1 -32 (-16, -11, -5)
6th – Brettski 5 -32 (-16, -11, -5)
6th – Jonathan Stott -32 (-16, -11, -5)
9th – Lee Pierce -32 (-16, -9)
10th – Oliver Griffiths -31 (-16, -10)
There are 68 entries on -24 and below. My general rule of thumb is that if you’re within 10 shots of the lead, you’re still in contention and that is definitely the case here if the scoring continues as it was today and yesterday. Fingers crossed it does as it makes for a great finish. Please keep tabs on the live leaderboard on our website to keep you up to date throughout the final round.
We will send the final scores after Round 4.
Shot of the day
There were some great shots in Round 3 but our favourite has to be Rory’s chip in from the bunker on the 10th hole.

Good luck to those still in contention. There is still a lot to play for here with the way scoring has been so far.
Cheers
