The Masters is almost here and it’s our main event of the year! Last year we managed a whopping 314 entries which meant it was our biggest pot to date. Paul Ashton won £3,140 with Hideki Matsuyama, Patrick Reed and Tony Finau.

This year it looks like another great field with Jon Rahm the early favourite with the bookies. Jordan Spieth, Collin Morikawa and Justin Thomas aren’t far behind so it promises to be a great few days of golf with the first round teeing off on Thursday 7th April.

We are aiming to once again increase the entries which will mean a bigger pot for our winner, hopefully breaking the £5,000 barrier for the first time.

How Last Man Standing Works

Pick 3 golfers from our Masters entrants page with combined odds of 125/1+ (must be from this list – the odds have been taken from Paddy Power on 29/03/2022):

E.g. Seve Ballesteros 70/1
Tiger Woods 10/1
Jonjo Shelvey 45/1

The lowest combined score wins i.e. if all 3 golfers finish on -10 your overall score would be -30.  However if one of your golfers misses the cut, you’re out! Plenty of people fell foul of this during the 2022 Players Championship with almost 75% of the entries eliminated at the cut so choose wisely!

If the scores are tied at the end of Round 4, it will then be based on your lowest individual golfer.

E.g. if my golfers had the score -30 (-10, -10, -10) and Joe Bloggs had -30 (-15, -10, -5), Joe Bloggs would win as -15 would beat -10.

If both have the same lowest individual scorer, it would go to the 2nd lowest golfers etc.

Obviously if all 3 golfers have the same score, the pot will be split.  The 2022 Players Championship was the first split pot in 4 years, with both winners pocketing £950 each.
