After a record breaking prize pot for The Masters LMS, we’re hoping for another 5 figure prize pot for PGA Championship LMS!

The Masters LMS broke all of our previous records and gave us our highest ever winner Paul, who took home £10,250 from his £10 entry fee. That wasn’t a bad start to his Monday morning!

The PGA Championship begins Thursday 16th May, so make sure you get your entries in early as we’re expecting a record prize pot for this competition.

Last year we managed 822 entries (before withdrawals, 818 after withdrawals) for the PGA Championship, giving a prize pot of £7,360.

This year we’re aiming for around 1,150 entries which should give a prize pot of around £10,000. Not bad from a tenner entry fee!

Tom Mealand took home the prize pot in last years competition, which was his first time entering, with a final score of -13 meaning he won £5,500 from his £10 entry fee.

Please help to spread the word about LMS by sending the website onto your mates and sharing our various social media posts.

As usual, we will be running another free entry competition for this tournament, keep an eye on our Twitter for details on how to enter!

The winner will be announced at 12pm on Wednesday 15th May giving the winner 8 hours to select their picks.

How Last Man Standing Works

There will be a payout for the top 3 places and the prize pot will be split as follows

1st – 75%
2nd – 20%
3rd – 5%

Pick 3 golfers from PGA Championship – Golfers & Odds page with combined odds of 150/1+ (must be from this list – the odds have been taken from Bet365 on 11/05/2024):

E.g. Seve Ballesteros 15/1
Gary Player 20/1
James Anderson 700/1

The lowest combined score wins i.e. if all 3 golfers finish on -10 your overall score would be -30.  However if one of your golfers misses the cut, you’re out! Almost 45% of the entries missed the cut in 2024 The Masters LMS!

If the scores are tied at the end of Round 4, it will then be based on your lowest individual golfer.

E.g. if my golfers had the score -30 (-10, -10, -10) and Joe Bloggs had -30 (-15, -10, -5), Joe Bloggs would win as -15 would beat -10.

If both have the same lowest individual scorer, it would go to the 2nd lowest golfers etc.

Obviously if all 3 golfers have the same score, the pot will be split.

If, for example, 3 people all finish tied in 1st place, the entire prize pot will be split equally between them i.e. 1st, 2nd and 3rd (100% of the prize pot) similarly to how ties in the actual competitions works.

Email – admin@lms.golf

The top 3 entries take the prize pot, unless it is a split pot as per “How LMS Works“.

The prize pot will be calculated on the following basis – the entry fees less our admin fee for managing and processing the tournament which will be capped at 10%.

Late Withdrawal Replacement

If this box is ticked, a late withdrawal before tee off will be automatically swapped to another golfer with the same odds. In the unlikely event that there is no other golfer on the same odds, it will roll onto the next golfer on the list e.g. if your golfer is 12/1 it will roll onto 14/1. If this box isn’t ticked, and one of your golfers is withdrawn prior to teeing off, you will get your money back.

Regardless of whether the box is ticked or not, if one of your golfers withdraws after teeing off, you’re out with no refund.

All the best with your picks,

Cole & Alex
