After breaking our record prize pot for the PGA Championship, we’re hoping to do the same for the US Open LMS.
The US Open begins Thursday 13th June, so make sure you get your entries in early as we’re expecting a record prize pot for this competition.
Last year we managed 849 entries, after withdrawals, for the US Open LMS, giving a prize pot of £7,650.
This year we’re aiming for around 1,000 entries which should give a prize pot of around £9,000. Not bad from a tenner entry fee!
Ric Hughes took home the prize pot in last years competition, with a final score of -20 meaning he won £5,750 from his £10 entry fee.
Please help to spread the word about LMS by sending the website onto your mates and sharing our various social media posts.
As usual, we will be running another free entry competition for this tournament, keep an eye on our Twitter for details on how to enter!
The winner will be announced at 12pm on Wednesday 12th June giving the winner 8 hours to select their picks.
How Last Man Standing Works
Pick 3 golfers from US Open – Golfers & Odds page with combined odds of 150/1+ (must be from this list – the odds have been taken from Bet365 on 08/06/2024):
E.g. Seve Ballesteros 15/1
Ernie Els 200/1
Jos Buttler 6/1
The lowest combined score wins i.e. if all 3 golfers finish on -10 your overall score would be -30. However if one of your golfers misses the cut, you’re out! Almost 45% of the entries missed the cut in 2024 The Masters LMS!
If the scores are tied at the end of Round 4, it will then be based on your lowest individual golfer.
E.g. if my golfers had the score -30 (-10, -10, -10) and Joe Bloggs had -30 (-15, -10, -5), Joe Bloggs would win as -15 would beat -10.
If both have the same lowest individual scorer, it would go to the 2nd lowest golfers etc.
Obviously if all 3 golfers have the same score, the pot will be split.
If, for example, 3 people all finish tied in 1st place, the entire prize pot will be split equally between them i.e. 1st, 2nd and 3rd (100% of the prize pot) similarly to how ties in the actual competitions works.

The top 3 entries take the prize pot, unless it is a split pot as per “How LMS Works“.
The prize pot will be calculated on the following basis – the entry fees less our admin fee for managing and processing the tournament which will be capped at 10%.
Regardless of whether the box is ticked or not, if one of your golfers withdraws after teeing off, you’re out with no refund.
All the best with your picks,
Cole & Alex
