2025 The Open – Round 1

In Tournaments by Admin

After Round 1 of The Open we have a five way tie at the top of the leaderboard. Jacob Skov Olesen, Haotong Li, Matt Fitzpatrick, Harris English and Christiaan Bezuidenhout all shot -4 so it’ll be interesting to see how we stand at the halfway stage.

We have a three way tie at the top of our LMS leaderboard with John, Kevin and Jim all on -11, there are plenty of entries only a couple shot behind. The Round 2 update could look very different!

At the other end of the table, Chris and Alex probably won’t be challenging for the prize pot as they both sit on +12, 23 shots behind the leaders!

Thankfully there were no withdrawals before everyone had teed off. As a result, the prize pot remains at £16,650, which is split as follows:

1st – £12,500

2nd – £3,325

3rd – £825
