We’re half way through the PGA Championship, Jhonattan Vegas still leads the way after carding a solid -1 round. Although excellent rounds from both Si Woo Kim and Max Homa, who both shot -7 has changed the complexion of our LMS leaderboard.
There were some popular picks who missed the cut, with 80% of players now out of the competition. Only 255 players remain in the hunt for the £11,500 prize pot!
We have a new leader on our LMS leaderboard, Thomas Hawkins sits on -13, he benefited from Max Homa’s superb round. As we saw with The Masters, the leaderboard can totally change in the space of a day, so it’ll be interesting to see what happens in Round 3.
With 1,021 people being cut at the half way, some popular players missed the cut such as Justin Thomas – 20 (217), Shane Lowry – 50 (127), Patrick Reed – 75 (110), Ludvig Åberg – 16 (95), Sepp Straka – 66 (83), Andrew Novak – 140 (79), Justin Rose – 66 (70), Keith Mitchell – 150 (68) and Jordan Spieth – 45 (64).
