2024 US Open – Round 1

In Tournaments by Admin

Patrick Cantlay was a putt away from carding the lowest round ever for the US Open at Pinehurst. Rory joined him on -5 with a birdie on 18th. The last 3 times Rory hit no bogeys during a major opening round these were the results…..

2011 U.S. Open – Won

2012 PGA – Won

2014 Open – Won

Scoring proved really hard during Round 1 with only 15 players shooting under par and with the greens being unforgiving, it’s going to cause plenty of swings in our LMS leaderboard.

Harry Owen holds a 2 shot lead, Liam and Carlo are only 2 shots behind so the leaderboard could look totally different by the end of Round 2.

At the other end of the table Lyndsay is struggling on +19 after her golfers carded +8,+7 and +4, with the projected cut sitting at +3, it’s safe to say she’s going to be struggling!

There were no withdrawals so the prize pot remains as announced and stands at £10,350

1st – £7,750

2nd – £2,050

3rd – £550
