Ludvig Åberg had a solid Round 3 which sees him take a three shot lead going into the final round. Michael Thorbjornsen shot -5 which took him into second place, jumping up the field. There are plenty of golfers that are on -9 or -8 so it could make for a very interesting final round!
In our Last Man Standing after holding a 4 shot lead in Round 2, it’s all changed at the top of our leaderboard! Venusflytrap who wasn’t even in the Top 10 yesterday now sits at the top of our leaderboard on -30, with the previous five leaders now being joined by Will. With the leaderboard changing so much in one day, could we see a twist at the end again in the race for the £9,475 prize pot.
Top 10
The top 10 after Round 3 is as follows:
1st – Venusflytrap 7 -30 (-13,-10,-7)
2nd – David holt 2 -29 (-13,-8,-8)
2nd – Will Inkster -29 (-13,-8,-8)
2nd – Adam kearns -29 (-13,-8,-8)
2nd – Paul Cormican -29 (-13,-8,-8)
2nd – Dan Derbyshire -29 (-13,-8,-8)
2nd – Anil Dhadwal 2 -29 (-13,-8,-8)
8th – David Lawlor 3 -28 (-13,-8,-7)
8th – Mike Coultard 3 -28 (-13,-8,-7)
10th – Creamy Reeds -27 (-13,-10,-4)
Our general rule of thumb is that if you’re within 10 shots of the lead, you’re still in contention and that is definitely the case here with the leaderboard being pretty tight and the scoring being so variable!
Please keep tabs on the leaderboard on our website to keep you up to date throughout the final round.
We will send the final scores after Round 4.
Shot of the day
Shot of the day goes to Daniel Berger, who started Round 3 with an eagle, sadly for him the rest of the round didn’t go to plan!

Good luck to those still in contention. It’s going to be a nervy finish!
