2023 The Masters – Round 3

In Tournaments by Admin

With one round to go the race for the record £10,900 prize pot is heating up! Koepka and Rahm are still leading the way but a late bogey each means it’s a closer race for the famous green jacket.

Unfortunately, as Tiger Woods withdrew through injury after teeing off, another 6 entrants are out of the competition. We now have 385 remaining.

There’s more in contention for the LMS prize pot with a three way tie currently at the top of the leaderboard.

Top 10

The top 10 after Round 3 is as follows:

1st – John Stalker Jnr -22 (-11, -8, -3)

1st – Darren Meafoley -22 (-11, -8, -3)

1st – Adam Lynch 3 -22 (-11, -8, -3)

4th – Sean Kennedy -20 (-11, -6, -3)

4th – Mike Green AGS 2 -20 (-11, -6, -3)

6th – Liam McDowell -18 (-11, -8)

7th – James McNally -18 (-11, -5, -2)

7th – Paul Buoey 2 -18 (-11, -5, -2)

7th – Callum Baxter -18 (-11, -5, -2)

10th – James Gartside -17

Our general rule of thumb is that if you’re within 10 shots of the lead, you’re still in contention and that is definitely the case here with the leaderboard being very tight!

Good luck to those still in contention. There is still a lot to play for here with the way scoring has been so far.
