2023 US Open – Round 3

In Tournaments by Admin

With one round to go the race for the £7,650 prize pot is heating up! Rickie Fowler has been leading the way from the start and with 18 holes to go he’s still up there. Wyndham Clark has joined him on -10 and with Rory only 1 shot behind, meaning it could be a tense finish.

It’s tight at the top of our LMS leaderboard with four shots separating the top 5 entries and there are another group that aren’t far behind so it’s all to play for!

Top 10

The top 10 after Round 3 is as follows:

1st – Ric Hughes 3 -22

2nd – Thomas kelly -21

3rd – Steven fearns-20

4th – Sam duckworth -19 (-10, -9)

5th – Jay McCoy -19 (-10, -7)

6th – Kristian Leith 2 -17 (-10, -7, 0)

6th – Karl behan 2 -17 (-10, -7, 0)

9th – stef maile 3 -16 (-10, -9, +3)

9th – andy jacks -16 (-10, -9, +3)

Our general rule of thumb is that if you’re within 10 shots of the lead, you’re still in contention and that is definitely the case here with the leaderboard being pretty tight!

We will send the final scores after Round 4.

Shot of the day

Shot of the day goes to Cameron Young, it didn’t help his chances at all but he hit a remarkable tee shot which ended up in the ball holder of a golf buggy, we won’t see another shot like that again!

Good luck to those still in contention. There is still a lot to play for here with the way scoring has been so far.

Cheers,
