We mentioned yesterday that the leaderboard could quickly change with one good or bad round and that was certainly the case in Round 3!

Rory McIlroy had another stunning -6 round which cemented his place at the top of the leaderboard, Justin Rose couldn’t keep up his previous efforts and carded a +3 which dropped him back to T6. Bryson DeChambeau had another solid round which means he only sits 2 shots behind Rory, it’s going to make for a really interesting final day!

Our LMS leaderboard changed hands during Round 3 although it’s still very tight at the top with the top 5 entries all on the same score, only separated by our ranking system. If it stays as is then both Peter and Andrew would miss out, which would be gutting for them!

The race for the £16,200 prize pot is well and truly on!

Our general rule of thumb is that if you’re within 10 shots of the lead, you’re still in contention and that is definitely the case here with the leaderboard being pretty tight and the scoring being so variable!
