It’s tight at the top of The Players Championship leaderboard with 3 shots separating the top 19 golfers. Lucas Glover, JJ Spaun and Camilo Villegas lead the way on -6 after impressive opening rounds.
Graham Wren is currently leading on our LMS leaderboard, all 3 of his picks had great rounds so he’ll be hoping that continues!
At the other end of the table Julie, Shane and Liam are struggling on +12, it’s safe to say they’re going to be struggling to challenge for the prize pot!
Jason Day withdrew from the competition before he teed off, which affected 59 entries, 48 had the withdrawal replacement option ticked. This meant they were assigned Jordan Spieth, who finished on -2, so not a bad return!
11 entries didn’t have withdrawal replacement ticked so were refunded their entry fee. As a result the prize pot now stands at £7,900 which is split as follows:
1st – £5,925
2nd – £1,575
3rd – £400
