We’re half way through The Open, there were some big movers in Round 2 with Ludvig Åberg carding -9 to take him to the top of the leaderboard. Both Xander Schauffele and Cameron Young had solid rounds which took them into the top 3.
There are 452 entries remaining in the hunt for the £9,475 prize pot after 327 were cut at the half way stage. We have a five way tie at the top of the leaderboard with David, Adam, Paul, Dan and Anil picking three out of the top four, pretty impressive!
With 327 people being cut at the half way, the most notable players who missed the cut were Aaron Rai – 110 (127), Jake Knapp – 50 (66), Shane Lowry – 40 (58), Marco Penge – 100 (39) and Harris English – 60 (32).
